At the End of the Day...

We spent the day listening to my "none of those songs is on BET!" iTunes playlist, reviewing literary devices, and transforming frustration into laughs by just making fun of ourselves. It's too easy to forget that I love my students immensely & that I have nurtured trusting relationships with each of them. I know other teachers frown upon how much of my personal life is weaved into my practice, but it's the only way I know how to do it. We have developed into some form of a family.
