It's funny how things work out. A few weeks ago, I had to miss a mandatory training for an after school job I wanted, so I pulled my application out of the pile. Well today the man that runs the program was visiting the middle school; he gave me his card, and told me to shoot him an email if I was still interested. Done. The job is challenging, the hours are long, but it's one of those gigs that actually forces you to get your shit together/looks real cozy on your resume/pays well.
